In Her Hands: Invisible Stories Behind Anatolian Rugs

A visual research presentation uncovering the invisible stories behind Anatolian rugs — the symbols, regional traditions and women’s hands that carry memory
through woven form. The project approached rug-making not only as craft, but as a visual language shaped by heritage, labour, identity and storytelling. Through
archival references, motif studies, cultural interpretation and editorial layouts, I created a presentation that transforms research into an atmospheric visual narrative.
The design direction balances historical material with a contemporary presentation style, allowing the subject to feel both culturally grounded and visually refined.
